Site Reclamation Activity <br /> 4/94 - 3/95 <br /> Page 10 <br /> BULKHEADS - TR-14 / TR-16 - Cont <br /> Additional information was gathered for the area seeps, springs and <br /> flowing adit inventory requirement of TR-14. This information is <br /> presented in an attached section as required as a provision of TR <br /> approval . <br /> Negotiations are continuing for CDPHE approval to close the Terry <br /> Tunnel and American Tunnel bulkhead valves after completion of <br /> bulkhead construction. <br /> Activity planned for 1995 includes; <br /> 1) removal of remaining equipment and other materials from the <br /> mine. <br /> 2) construction of the American Tunnel bulkhead. <br /> 3) bringing the negotiations with CDPHE for bulkhead valve <br /> closures to completion. <br /> 4) continuing the seep, spring and flowing adit inventory <br /> program. <br /> MAYFLOWER MILL AREA - Plate No. 3 <br /> Activity at this site during the 1994 reporting year consisted of ; <br /> 1) general site cleanup and maintenance. <br /> 2) fertilizing vegetation previously established with liquid <br /> fertilizer (17N 8P 2K) applied at a rate of 50 gal/acre. <br /> 3) exploring with the San Juan County Historical Society the <br /> potential for donation of the site for the future use as a <br /> tour and/or museum. <br /> 4) implementation of minor improvement projects that the <br /> Historical Society indicated would be beneficial to the <br /> Society if the donation proceeded. These projects were; <br /> a) backfilling of the coarse ore bin. <br /> b) cleaning of sediment from the stormwater catchment pond <br /> ("duck pond") . <br /> .c) removal of the cribbing in the concentrate loadout area <br /> and general cleaning of this area. <br /> d) removal of culverts. <br /> e) removal of scrap steel and pipe. <br />
