C)
RPM, Inc.
Regulatory Permits Management, Inc. 9050 Old Tom Morris Cir., Highlands Ranch CO 80129
Phone: 303-854-7499
Email: hlhumphries2acomcast.net
Note: Most of the non -fuel supplies will be housed in the core lab building until needed at a drill
pad location. Typically, the on -shift crew will load up the necessary supplies needed for a shift
and deliver to the exploration drill site. Only minimal amounts of the above materials will be at
a drill site.
9. The Applicant has stated that an area measuring 100' x 100' will be needed as temporary
storage at the entrance to the 350 level portal. Is there waste rock within the 350 level
portal which will need to be removed to access the workings? Will the Applicant need to
remove waste rock to timber /secure the portal? If waste rock will be removed from the
portal, then please specify how the material will be handled during active prospecting
operations and during final reclamation.
Response:
Gold Hill Minerals has decided to submit reconstruction of the 350 Portal under a separate NOI.
We will retain the 100' by 100' area for potential storage of supplies, equipment and temporary
storage of debris from the underground working during the surface exploration activities under
this NOI. No topsoil exists on the 100' by 100' foot area and no overburden or waste rock will
need to be removed, moved or stockpiled. (We will need to gain access to the underground
workings through the 350 Portal in order to take water samples and hand acquired waste rock
samples for acid/base analysis, etc. Therefore some shoring/timber replacement may be needed
to ensure a safe access.)
10. Please specify how the 350 level portal will be reclaimed. The Applicant should provide
the Division with closure design details; all closures must be designed to meet the
standard closure specifications used by the Division's Inactive Mine Land Program
(IMP).
Response:
As stated in #10 and #4 above, the reconstruction of the 350 Portal will be submitted under a
separate NOI application.
11. The Applicant has stated the Division will be notified if there is a need to alter or remove
an existing closure installed by the Division's Inactive Mine Land Program. Please note
that if the Applicant needs to remove or alter an existing closure which is not approved
as part of the review of this NOI then the Applicant must file a modification to the
existing NOI pursuant to Rule 5.1.2(j).
5
