21 Due to the revised SEDCAD design criteria for Pond 002 and the Pecoco Pond both a 10 year /24 <br />hour storm event design and a 25 year /24 hour design is required. The only storm event design <br />was for Pond 002, 10 year event. Please provide revised design information and structure <br />network parameters for the Pond 002 25 year event and the Pecoco Pond 10 year and 25 <br />year events. <br />a. Revised design information and structure network parameters for Pond 002 25 year event <br />are attached. <br />b. The PECOCO Pond 10 year event is an integral part of the 10 year Pond 002 <br />demonstration and can be found Addendum 2.05.3- E2.A -1 10 yr /24 hr SEDCAD <br />demonstration previously submitted. <br />c. Revised design information and structure network parameters for PECOCO Pond 10 year <br />and 25 year events are attached. <br />22. Approved pages 2.05.3- E2 -A1.73 through 2.05.3- E2- A1.149 list the Hydrologic Input Parameters <br />for the Pond 002 system. Based on the revised the proposed Addendum 2.05.3 -E2.A1 some of <br />these parameters have been changed. Please revise the input parameters to reflect the <br />proposed revised parameters with the Pond 002 design. <br />a. The hydrologic input parameters (pages A1.73 through A1.149) in the original approved <br />Pond 002 design were redundant and therefore not needed. All input parameters are <br />contained within the new Drainage System Re- Design Pond 002 System SEDCAD <br />demonstration originally submitted for TR -4. <br />23. Based on the revised proposed addendum 2.05.3 -E2.A1 for Pond 002, the Pecoco Pond design <br />parameters have been revised. Appendix 2.05.3 -E2.D describes the design information for the <br />Pecoco Pond. Please revise appendix 2.05.3 -E2.D information to properly reflect the <br />changes in the network structure and contributing acres associated with the proposed <br />TR4 application. <br />a. The PECOCO Pond demonstration is an integral part of the 10 year Pond 002 <br />demonstration and can be found Addendum 2.05.3- E2.A -1 10 yr /24 hr SEDCAD <br />demonstration previously submitted. However, Appendix 2.05.3 -E2. D has been revised <br />to properly reflect the 10 and 25 year events. <br />24. Based on a letter from the CDPW received by the Division dated May 14, Please address the <br />following concerns: <br />• A recommendation that no surface occupancy with in 1 /4 mile from a Golden Eagle <br />nest, and no human encroachment or construction activity within 1 /2 mile of a <br />Golden Eagle nest from March 1, to May 31 <br />i. Construction will not begin until after May 31st <br />ii. None of the sites that encroach on the buffer areas have been active for several <br />years. Four of the six nests are no longer present - assumed destroyed by natural <br />causes <br />iii. A non -mine access road runs between the nest sites and the PSCM disturbance <br />boundary. This road is used to access an oil well and by the lessee (State Land) <br />for grazing and hunting access. This activity does not appear to have affected the <br />nesting as the more recently active site is located within the % mile buffer <br />
