Security Gate Installation (MR09 -240, MR10 -244, TRIO-75) - A Security Gate Installation is needed to enhance <br />mine security and provide for better and more effective access control and training of mine visitors and vendors. <br />The location of the proposed Security Gate Installation is on and adjacent to the Mine Entrance and Hauhoad, as <br />shown on Map 24, Surface Facilities and Freshwater Systems, with details provided by drawings in Exhibit 49U. <br />The proposed Security Gate Installation will involve the following: <br />• Completion of grading and paving of an existing dirt parking/staging area (previously approved under <br />MR07 -220) <br />• Realignment of approximately 300 feet of the existing Ditch G -ld <br />• Installation of a grated drainage collection basin, approximately 80 feet of 36 -inch culvert, and construction <br />of a short connecting ditch <br />• Foundation preparation for a modular security building within the existing disturbed area <br />• Installation of a 1,500 gallon waste -water holding tank (sub - grade) and connecting pipeline <br />• Installation of a 20 x 60 foot modular Security Building <br />• Installation of a 1,500 gallon water tank (may be sub - grade) and connecting pipeline <br />• Installation of a 1,000 gallon propane tank and connecting pipeline <br />• Extension of a short powerline (up to 10 new powerpoles), and installation of a transformer <br />• Construction of approximately 100 feet of security fence <br />• Placement of concrete barriers <br />Visitors and vendors entering the mine property will be required to stop and check -in at the Security Gate. Site <br />hazard training and issuance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), will also occur at this location. The water <br />tank will be filled from mine sources or by a contractor, and wastewater will be periodically pumped -out and <br />hauled off -site by a contract disposal fum <br />Maintenance ShooMarehouse Facility <br />A mine warehouse and maintenance shop facility underwent a change in use and now houses a general meeting <br />area and office space for mine persomiel. TCC utilizes the former CYCC shop /warehouse complex to work on <br />equipment and store and dispense materials. TCC also utilizes a shop area northeast of its office; which was <br />previously operated by CYCC as the Preventive Maintenance Bay. Uses of the shop area include construction, <br />maintenance, and storage of materials, equipment, and various supplies.
