ACID BASE STUDY IN SUNNYSIDE BASIN <br /> In an effort to solve the Lake Emma reclamation and open-pit <br /> waste disposal problems, Sunnyside Gold conducted a number of <br /> acid base potential (ABP) tests on various materials in Sunnyside <br /> Basin. Tests were run on the following materials: <br /> 1 . Waste 10 ' off Sunnyside Vein <br /> 2. Overburden stockpile from Sunnyside Pit <br /> 3 . Sunnyside Pit waste stockpile <br /> 4 . Washington Pit waste stockpile <br /> 5. Old dump in Basin <br /> 6 . Talus , west side of Lake Emma <br /> 7 . Lake sediments piled south of trench <br /> 8 . Waste 20 ' off Sunnyside Vein <br /> 9 . Overburden stockpiled from Washington Pit <br /> 10 . Country rock (green volcanic host rock) <br /> 11 . Waste 50 ' off Sunnyside Vein <br /> 12. Waste 100 ' off Sunnyside Vein <br /> 13 . In-place overburden southwest of Lake Emma <br /> 14 . Diversion Trench wall rock <br /> 15.
