1994 Annual Update <br /> Page 2 <br /> Data Update Details : <br /> - Included in the Appendix (B8 - B18) is updated data for sample <br /> points in the area of interest from the Colorado Department of <br /> Health - UPPER ANIMAS RIVER STUDY. This study ended with the <br /> last sampling session being in July, 1993. <br /> - Included in the Appendix are updated sample point maps. <br /> - Additional sample points added and their description are: <br /> o S-16 A small flow into Cement Creek exiting the bank at <br /> flow-line . This point is located just above the culvert <br /> where Cement Creek passes under Hwy. 110. <br /> - Sample points deleted are all points in Poukeepsie Gulch as <br /> agreed upon by DMG . <br /> - Data Analysis: <br /> In general, most sample points have been sampled during <br /> presumed high flow (early summer) and presumed low flow <br /> (fall ) . This flow has generally varied from higher to lower <br /> (verifying this assumption) with the exception of a few sites <br /> and adits where flow stayed constant . In general , most metal <br /> concentrations have been relatively constant. <br /> Tne 1994 data will in all likelihood be collected prior to <br /> valve closure and in the next report a more thorough <br /> comparison will be made. Flows of like seasons will be <br /> compared as well as flows in general and metal concentrations <br /> can be compared for average and variances. <br /> - Conjunctive Flow of Cement Creek <br /> No data has been developed and interpreted for submittal to- <br /> date although wells have been drilled along two lines for <br /> monitoring. A report will be submitted separately for DMG <br /> approval of methodology. If approved, this data will become <br /> a part of this report for the 1994 report year. <br />
