Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On -site <br />N - Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br />NA - Processing Waste R - Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />This was a partial inspection of the Trapper Mine conducted by Susan Burgmaier of CDRMS. Forrest Luke of <br />TMI was present during the first half of the inspection, and Billy Nicholson of TMI was present during the latter <br />half. Weather conditions during the inspection were cloudy and cool, with intermittent snow showers. Ground <br />conditions were fairly dry. Three draglines were operating in the K pit area, truck and loader operations were <br />moving spoil from the K pit to the F pit, and fly ash was being hauled to the D pit. <br />BACKFILL and GRADING — Rule 4.14 ❑ ❑ Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour <br />4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)0; Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling ofAcid and Toxic Materials <br />4.14.3; Stabilization ofRills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />Backfilling and grading operations were underway in the F pit. Material was being hauled by trucks from <br />the active K pit over to the F pit, where it was end dumped and graded with a bulldozer. <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE Rule 4.09 ❑ []Placement,- Drainage Control; Surface <br />Stabilization: <br />The Horse Gulch fill area and diversions channels were observed to be stable, no problems were noted. <br />EXPLOSIVES —Rule 4.08 11 ❑Distance Prohibitions 4.08.4; Warnings 4.08.4; Control ofAdverse Effects 4.08.4: <br />An interburden shot was being drilled and loaded in the K pit.
