May 3, 2012 C- 1981- 035/King Coal Mine MLT <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />• Steep cut slopes are visible above the portal structures at King H (Photos 5 and 6). It <br />appears that some sloughing of sandstone is occurring, based on the tan - colored material <br />visible in the photos. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />• The remaining King I surface facilities are indentified in Photo 4. <br />• King 11 surface facilities appear in Photo 5 (eastern fork) and Photo 6 (western fork). <br />TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06 <br />Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution <br />4.06.4: <br />• The topsoil stockpile ( #1) constructed to the west of the King II pond appears to be well <br />vegetated and stable (Photo 1), as does the topsoil stockpile ( #2), located at the upper end <br />of the eastern arm (Photo 5). <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 Page 3 of 8 <br />
