Box 1609
556 Adams Ave.
Silverthome, CO 80498
Subject: South Maryland Creek Ranch
Dear Mr. Everist,
This is a follow up to my letter dated April 8, 2009. Al Block, your General
Manager, has contacted me about this matter and I believe he has made efforts
to try and resolve this situation.
However, the last couple of times I was at my home, which includes today, the
situation has not improved. The main issue is your truck gate directly across
from my home entry at 27612 N Hwy #9 in Silverthorne. The dirt, dust, and truck
noise is out of control.
I realize the other problems, such as speeding and jake braking, are not only
confined to the trucks from your development. Nevertheless, these trucks create
a very dangerous situation for our community, especially for the neighboring
school.
I contacted the Silverthorne Police Department and spoke with Officer Jones. He
indicated to me they would spread the word to their police officers, Silverthorne
Police and State Patrol, for more enforcement.
Your continued support concerning this matter is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
.
Daryl) Propp
CC: John Roberts, Summit County Senior Planner
Michael Johnson, City of Silverthorne Planning Manager
Al Block, Maryland Creek Ranch General Manager
Mark Hanschmidt, Silverthorne Chief of Police
"We set the standards in property management."
12600 West Colfax Ave., 8-130
Lakewood, CO 80215
Tel: (303) 233-4000
Fax: (303) 233 -3100
Ieasing@propprealty.com
www.propprealty.com
