The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment <br />( "CDPHE ") recommends that the leach fields be sampled for the <br />purpose of determining what, if any, contaminants are present <br />within the septic systems. CDPHE's recommendation was made <br />following review of the August 2, 1996 Harlan and Associates <br />Report, which was commissioned by MCR. Work will be <br />accomplished if sampling indicates a need to do so. Michael <br />Long, David Bucknam, Steven Renner, and Jim McArdle <br />participated in the decision regarding this work. <br />There are documents which relate to this work. These <br />documents will be made available for inspection at a mutually <br />convenient time at the Division's office in Grand Junction <br />and \or Denver. <br />19. Please identify each person who participated in or <br />provided information contained in the DMG Reclamation <br />Accounting. <br />Response: Steven Renner, Environmental Protection <br />Specialist, Coal Program, 2148 Broadway, No. C -5, Grand <br />Junction, Colorado 81503 (970) 241 -0336. Employed by the <br />Division. Mr. Renner is the lead specialist for the MCR mine <br />site. <br />David Bucknam, Supervising Environmental Protection <br />Specialist, Office of Active and Inactive Mines, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203 (303) 866 -3567. <br />Employed by the Division. Mr. Bucknam reviewed the <br />accounting done by Steven Renner for the tasks necessary to <br />complete reclamation and the accuracy of cost estimates. . <br />James McArdle, Senior Environmental Protection Specialist, <br />Office of Active and Inactive Mines, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Colorado 80203 (303) 866 -3567. Employed by the Division. <br />Mr. McArdle reviewed the accounting done by Steven Renner for <br />the tasks necessary to complete reclamation and the accuracy <br />of cost estimates. <br />Deborah Mulloy, Program Assistant II, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 (303) 866 -3567. Employed by the <br />Division. Ms. Mulloy provided that part of the accounting <br />concerning money received pursuant to Mid - Continent Resources <br />liquidation plan and the amount of money expended on <br />reclamation. <br />11 <br />
