Objection: As to that portion of the interrogatory <br /> which refers to the term "Reclamation Plan, " please see the <br /> general objection to the Defendants' definition of reclamation <br /> plan. As defined in these interrogatories, this term excludes <br /> many portions of the approved permit and, therefore, excludes <br /> reclamation requirements mandated by MCR' s permit . The <br /> Division' s response includes references to reclamation <br /> requirements contained in other portions of the approved <br /> permit : <br /> Reclamation of the slopes adjacent to the roads is <br /> addressed in the Coal Basin Mine Permit Renewal Application <br /> Volume 8, Chapter V. <br /> Revegetation of the mine bench outslopes is addressed in <br /> the Coal Basin Mine Permit Renewal Application, Volume 8, <br /> Chapter V, Appendix V-G-1, and in the Proposed Decision and <br /> Findings of Compliance dated August, 1984 . <br /> Intermountain Soils Incorporated report titled SL2-= <br /> Slope Plot Studies - Coal Basin Mines; dated September 20 , <br /> 1989 ; commissioned by Mid-Continent Resources and submitted to <br /> the Division. Evaluation of steep slope revegetation test <br /> plots on mine bench outslopes . <br /> As defined in the interrogatories, the term (MLRB) <br /> Reclamation Bond is defined as the security or pledge posted <br /> by Mid-Continent Resources . This document is a Deed of Trust <br /> regarding a parcel of land referred to as the Limestone or <br /> Rock Dust Plant . This document does not discuss reclamation <br /> requirements or cost . Therefore, as defined by the <br /> Defendants, "reclamation bond" does not refer to any <br /> reclamation tasks or costs . <br /> There are documents which relate to this task and its <br /> estimated cost . The documents will be made available for <br /> inspection at a mutually convenient time at the Division' s <br /> offices in Denver and\or Grand Junction. <br /> 45 . In the Geo-Hydro Report 1983 predicating the <br /> initial permit, 6 . 9 acres are included for road cut-slope and <br /> 7 .4 acres are included for road fill slopes .
