Mid - Continent Resources, Inc. (extracted from "Notations Memo ") <br />M -82 -121 <br />Reclamation Bond = $27,240; Deed of Trust = $13,213; Performance <br />Warranty? = balance; Appraisal Value = $3,272,500. Can not <br />justify bond and deed figures. <br />Last appraisal and title search done in 1988: <br />Title search showed several requirements and exceptions: <br />mineral rights owned by Mid - Continent Coal & Coke Company <br />and Robert Sewell; 1988 judgment of to Joseph E. Harker: <br />research revealed the judgment to apparently be in the <br />amount of $366,007.57 plus 6,614.14 for attorney fees to <br />Joseph E. Harker and the same to five others, and $61,473.30 <br />in trust for grandchildren; and Deed of Trust to several <br />trustees with indivisible interest. <br />Deed of Trust was filed on 12/11/84, Reception #357928, with <br />Public Trustee, State of Colorado- Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />listed as first and second lienholders: <br />Garfield County will not verify information over the phone <br />and charges $10.00 /page for documents. <br />Property taxes have not been paid since 1989, one year after bond <br />approval. Tax sale will be required next year unless redeemed. <br />
