after reclamation
This reclamation plan does not call for any ponds or streams to remain after reclamation. The
existing structures will remain. The power poles and lines will be moved at some future date.
The mounds or islands of earth where the poles are located will be removed and placed along the
property next to U.S. Highway 6 &24 as a visual berm and seeded with the approved seed mix.
(e) Specify the reclamation treatment of any waste rock dumps,
underground mining openings, ditches, sediment control facilities, buildings
and other features specified in the mine plan but not previously addressed in
the Reclamation Plan narrative. These features must be shown on Exhibit E
— Map. This should describe the measures taken to minimize disturbance to
the hydrologic balance, prevent off-site damage, and provide for a stable
configuration consistent with the proposed future land use:
The only structure not previously addressed is the haul roads. The road used to haul borrow
material will be disked or otherwise treated to eliminate compaction, topsoiled and seeded with
the appropriate seed mix. In addition, any gates or fences affected or disturbed by mining and
reclamation operations will be restored to equal or better condition upon completion of mining
and reclamation operations. No other structures or facilities are part of the borrow operation.
2. Reclamation Cost Estimate:
This is an 111 Special Operation permit. The bond amount proposed to be posted is $2,500.00
per acre. The affected area is 14.5 acres. (14.5 acres X $2,500.00/ acre = $36,250.00)
Completed Performance Warranty is attached to this Application.
31
