This will be a total disturbance area of 3.76 acres. However, the amount of land to be re- vegetated is limited to a portion of the access roads on the surface of the waste piles. 3. Post - Reclamation Site Drainage The system of collection ditched and sumps will be left in place for final reclamation. These areas will be seeded and mulched and will revegetate. As they eventually silt in, the site will be revegetated and the system should not then be needed. Once mining is complete, drainage from the quarry will commence when water has filled the existing workings up to the lowest possible exit elevation. This is the north portal.
