April 17, 2012 C- 1980 - 005 /Seneca II Mine JDM <br />4 <br />Pond 008 from Road C Pond 008 <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br />This was a partial coal inspection of the Seneca 1I mine conducted by Jason Musick of CDRMS. The mine site <br />was dry and the weather was clear at the time of the inspection. Jay James of Peabody Energy accompanied the <br />inspection. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) Surfacing and <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Road C, the South Road and South Road B were stable with no problems noted, with the exception of the <br />following: <br />- at the end of the South Road B at Pond 008, a small amount of following water was observed crossing the road <br />and entering Pond 008. This water was developing a small pond with rutting occurring due to vehicle traffic. This <br />area should be monitored for erosion and maintenance issues that may develop during the Spring. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />Mine ID signs located at Road C and the South Road were on the ground.
