No.22. The Neilson Ditch. That said ditch is entitled to <br /> Priority 21o.20. The claimants are H. L. Neilson and Homer B: Hastings; <br /> that it is a ditch used for the irrigati m of lands, taking its supply <br /> of water from Alder Creek and the South Fork thereof, being a natural <br /> stream and a tributary of Leopard Creek, of the San Miguel River and <br /> the hedgates are located as follows: Headgate 2io.1 is located on <br /> Alder Creek and at a point whence the 'Nest corner of Section 28, <br /> Township 44 North, Range 10 West N.?i.P.::, bears South 34 degrees <br /> 30 minutes West, 3111 feet; thence said ditch runs South 64 degrees <br /> 30 minutes 'best, 97 feet, thence South 28 degrees 30 minutes West <br /> 145 feet; thence South 2 degrees 30 minutes ';;est, 5.9 feet; thence <br /> South 3 degrees 30 minutes East, 165 feet to the South Fork of <br /> said Alder Creek, at which point is located Fiedgate 119.2. And it <br /> isnereby adjudged and decreed that there be allowed to flow into <br /> I <br /> said ditch from said stream for the use aforesaid and for the benefit <br /> of the parties lawfully eneitled thereto, under and by virtue of aaid <br /> appropriation by construction and Priority ho.20, such an amount <br /> of water as will flow in said ditch,-it being 2 feet wide on the <br /> bottom, 3 feet wide on the ta_, its depth 2 feet, and its grade 12.8 <br /> feet per mile,-not to exceed 2 cubic feet per second. <br /> (See No.23, Blessing Ditch next page, B. G. ) <br /> No.24. The High Line Canal of the Colorado Co-operative <br /> Cor,:pany. That said ditch is entitled to Priority No. 23. The <br /> claimant is the Colorado Co-operative Company; that it is a ditch <br /> used for the irrigation of lands, taking its supply of water from <br /> the San Miguel River and its headgate is located 4350 feet South <br /> 72 degrees 59 minutes 'hest of the Northwest corner of Section 20, <br /> Iq Township 46 North Range 15 West N.M.P.M. And it is hereby adjudged <br /> / and decreed that there be allowed to flow into said ditch from said <br /> river, for the use aforesaid and for the benefit of t::eparties law- <br /> fully entitled thereto under and by virtue of said appropriation <br /> by construction and Priority No.23, such an amount of water as mL l <br /> flow in said ditch,-it using 12 feet aide on the bottom, 20 feet Fide <br /> on the top and 4 feet deep, and its grade 4 feet to the mile,-not so <br /> exceed 31.28 cubic feet per second. <br /> -22- <br />
