Access to the blasting site shall be controlled by insuring that the blasting area is <br /> clear of all livestock or unauthorized persons and guarding, blocking, or barricading <br /> roads leading into the blasting area. The vicinity of charged holes will be barricaded, <br /> posted, or flagged against unauthorized entry. The all clear signal shall be given only <br /> after the area has been checked to insure that no unusual hazards such as slides or <br /> undetonated charges exist and access to or travel through the area can safely resume. <br /> Records <br /> Each blast will be documented on a blasting record form. An example is shown in <br /> Attachment 3. Each blasting record shall be retained for a period of three years <br /> following the date of the blast.
