English w.i•; ref eerrd to the county ineurahec clark tur n <br /> drterminat.ion. <br /> 3:45 p.m. Mike Schell, owner of A-1 Liquor Store, appeared to discuss his proposal <br /> for transferring his current liquor store license from its present location across the <br /> street to the Arcadia Grocery Store. His proposal includes the purchase of .5 acre of <br /> property with the store from Judy Maurer through the Small Buniness Administration. The <br /> property has an existing Septic tank and leach field, and is over 290 feet from the <br /> nearest Montrose Hest Sanitation District sever line. Before the property is purchased, <br /> Mr. Schell needs to know what will be required by the county to conform tc regulations. <br /> After a lengthy discussion of the proposal, it vas determined that the owners of the <br /> property, Judy Maurer and Robert- Swenson, must provide sewer and water taps with the <br /> property at the time of sale. In ordnr to utilize the present septic tank and leach <br /> field an Site, a minimum of one acre would have to be purchasec. Mr. Schell vas <br /> cautioned that if the system fails, the owner would have to hook onto the west Mnntrcro <br /> Sanitation District line, or reek other alternatives. According to the County Attnrnry, <br /> if property is within 400 feet of an existing Sanitation line, then it must be connected - <br /> tc that line. Mr. Schell was unsure if the property was within 400 feet. Mr. Schell <br /> reviewed discussions he has had with the Department of Highways regarding curb cuts at <br /> this site and their assurances he can have only one. He was told Montrose County will <br /> also require that well water pass a State water quality test in order to meet county <br /> Subdivision water requirements. <br /> M/S/P - Neesham/Schmalz - to accept Alan Greager's contract for telecommunication <br /> system maintenance services within Mnn*-wise County.
