The intake and discharge piping entering /exiting the pump station were relocated
to the front (east) side of the building to isolate the building foundation
penetrations.
3. The drain sump was moved to the southeast corner of the building.
4. The electrical room was moved to the northwest corner of the building to allow
more laydown room, storage, and equipment near the front entrance of the
building.
The design for the pipeline was modified as described in TR -17. These modifications
include increasing the pipe size from 24- inch - diameter to 36- inch - diameter to reduce friction
loss, using all carbon steel rather than HDPE pipe for added pressure capacity, and
relocating the pipeline alignment to avoid other utilities and to accommodate a revised mill
water tank location. The pipeline was constructed in general conformance with the TR -17
submittal.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please call.
Sincerely,
W. W.
