proposed to occur on roads, and in an area recently logged, it is highly unlikely that there are any
cultural resources in the vicinity of the drilling sites. See Attached: Archaeological Survey (Completed)
• Colorado Division of Water Resources, Water Rights — Not Applicable. There are no consumptive uses
planned as part of this project.
• Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment — Not Applicable.
o APEN: The project activities will not yield any particulate amount that would require an Air Pollution
Emission Notice or any other permit needs under the Air Quality program.
o SWMPP: The proposed amount of surface disturbance (0.172 acres) does not qualify, therefore there
is no need for a construction storm water permit (as per the following website:
http: / /www.cd phe. state. co. us /wq /PermitsUnit/ stormwater /ConstFactSheet.PDF).
• US Forest Service Notice for Prospecting Operations: This submittal is intended to serve as the
required notice for USFS, and a site walk has been completed to identify any further requirements that
the USFS may have (e.g. access stipulations, review of cultural resources, etc.) prior to prospecting.
• US Army Corps of Engineers — Section 4.04 Dredge and Fill Permit Compliance — Not Applicable. The
footprints of the drilling sites will not affect any wetlands as per site review.
• County Planning Department — Not Applicable. Mining is a use by right and this proposed project does
not require any special use permits. An access permit is not required either since the proposed use of
County Roads 44 and L meet county usage criteria.
The information provided herein is introduced by Chris Cozby /Compass Exploration.
