The dirt entrance <br />roads at the temporary highway coal stockpile area, reclaimed run -of -mine coal stockpile area, well field and the <br />West Mine were muddy but passable. <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3 : <br /> The reclaimed slopes at the West Mine were stable and had a moderate to good vegetative cover. The <br />roughened reclaimed slopes at the run -of -mine coal stockpile area were stable and had a good vegetative cover. <br />There were no indications of cracking or s lumping within the backfill at either location. <br /> <br />REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15 Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> The outslope of the unit train loadout bench was well vegetated. The reclaimed slopes at the West Mine <br />generally had a fair to moderate vegetative cover. At the reclaimed run -of -mine coal stockpile area, the good <br />vegetative cover is probably the result, in part, of the roughened grading. Because of the muddy entrance road at <br />the East Mine, the recent revegetation efforts at the East Mine were not inspected this time. <br /> <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br /> There were no issues with the remaining facilities at the unit train loadout. Drilling equipment and mine <br />equipment are being stored at the site. <br /> <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.02: <br /> The mine identification signs were up at the entrances to the East M i ne, West Mine, well field, reclaimed <br />run -of -mine coal stockpile area, temporary highway coal stockpile area and all three entrances to the unit train <br />loadout. The address es on the signs have been changed from the old street address to the new street address. <br />Surface disturbance markers were up around all of the disturbed areas. The two subsidence warning signs were up <br />along Steven’s Gulch Road, across from the well field. <br /> <br />TOPSOIL – Rule 4.06 Removal 4.06.2; Substitu te Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br />Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> The only remaining topsoil stockpile is on the west end of the unit train loadout.
