The operator also needs to assure that the minimum cover over the culverts is maintained. <br /> <br />The operator has hydroseeded and mulched the “zig -zag” road on the east side of the RDA. TR62 has been <br />received by th e Division to permit this road and the unauthorized road at the NE portion of the RDA. <br /> <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br /> Concrete culverts and other material previo u sly stored at the West Portal area have been cleaned up and <br />brought the main materials sto rage area east of the C&W building. NECC is considering storing straw bales <br />adjacent to the C&W building. <br /> <br />Mud pits remain open at the slurry hole #2 and #3 location. mud pits need to be filled in. Slurry holes remain <br />uncapped and are drawing air into t he mine. These holes should be capped until the slurry line is constructed. <br /> <br />TOPSOIL – Rule 4.06 Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br />Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> The operator was in the process of moving Topsoil pile #1 to soil stockpile location #2 using an excavator <br />and haul trucks. Expansion of the DWDA to the west has been s u bmitted as a technical revision to the Division <br />and is currently under review. Relocation of the Topsoil stockpile #1 also allows the operat or to utilize the <br />currently approved DWDA area. Compaction of the west side of the DWDA was being conducted during the <br />inspection. Sediment controls were in place for Stockpile location #2. The southern ditch will need more defined <br />shaping. Subsoil stockpile #3 has HPDE piping stored on it at this time for construction of the fines slurry line. <br />The operator stated that the pipe will be removed as the slurry line is constructed, the subsoil pile will be shaped, <br />and topsoil and subsoil signs will be replaced. <br /> <br /> <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br />OTHER (SPECIFY) <br />
