January 19, 2012 C -1981 -028 /Keenesburg Strip Mine JLE <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br />A small excavation area was noted in t he long term spoil pile where the O perator is taking ma terial to be used in <br />Pit B. <br /> <br />SU PPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br /> <br />The mine shop and yard were observed and no problems were noted. <br /> <br />S IGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.02: <br /> <br />The entrance sign was in good shape and included the necessary information. <br /> <br />TOPSOIL – Rule 4.06 ; Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4 .06.3; <br />Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> <br />Topsand pile A -3 was stable and vegetated; several Russian Olive trees were observed on the south ern side of the <br />topsand pile. <br /> <br />Topsand piles B -1 and A -1 were inspected, they were stable and vegetated. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
