I, Jared Ebert of the Colorado <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety conducted the inspection. Danny Kipp and Don MacDonald of Coors <br />Energy Compa ny (CEC) accompanied me during the inspection. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 ; Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br />4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br />M onitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br />Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> <br />The drainage ditch on the west side of parcels 30 was inspected. The ditch was in place and stable . <br /> <br />Sediment Pond 2 was inspected, the side slopes were stable and the pond was dry. <br /> <br />The Dugout Pond was inspected, the side slopes were stable and the pond was dry. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 ; Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3), Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance <br />4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6)Rec lamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> <br />The road from the shop facilities to Sediment Pond 2, the B Pit and from the B pit south and east to the A -1 and B - <br />1 stockpiles was observed during the inspecti on. The roads were graded and maintained and the roadside ditches <br />were in good shape. <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> <br />An area on south side of the Topsand Pile A -3 in the Long Term Spoil area is in the process of being graded. <br /> <br />Pit B was i nspected. According to Mr. Kipp, four loads of ash were delivered and dumped in the pit today. S poil <br />and water had been place d on the recently backfilled ash in accordance with the approved plan. <br />
