The proposed mine will be reclaimed to be harmonious with the environment as it is today. The
applicant has an existing 110c Reclamation Permit with the State of Colorado, thru the Mined
Land Reclamation Board (MLRB) Permit, enforced by the Division of Reclamation, Mining
and Safety. This request is to add additional acreage to the existing Permit Area approximately
4.44 acres. The applicant is applying for a conversation from an 110c to an 112c permit with the
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. Mining has been ongoing on this property since
1987. This Pit is fully permitted by all the other required agencies. This active commercial
operation needs to expand its land area. In accordance with MLRB Reclamation requirements,
the operator will have to increase the Reclamation Financial Warranty with the State of
Colorado to insure reclamation will be carried out.
Sincerely; )
t.
,'Joe Gag is
Consultant for
SOUTHWAY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC.
cc: file
