CONTROLLED BURN AND WILDFIRE LAND MANAGEMENT: <br />(— Habitat �. tianagerent, Inc. <br />71 E Phillips Or Centennial, Colorado X0122 <br />Managed reestablished native mid and tall grass prairie ecosystems with controlled burns in <br />Kansas, Missouri, and Texas. Evaluated pre and post -burn vegetation, soil, and site stability <br />parameters to develop burn sequence, fertility amendments, weed control, and erosion control. <br />Santa Clara & San Ildefonso Tribes, Cerro Grande Wildfire, Espanola, NM <br />Plan and implement the collection of pre and post -burn vegetation, soil, and site stability <br />parameters to develop a fire loss assessment for culturally significant plant, rangeland and soil <br />resources. Loss assessment was submitted to FEMA for approval. <br />The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Mining Company, Empire & Midway Mines, KS & MO. <br />Plan and implement the collection of pre and post -burn vegetation, soil, and site stability <br />parameters to develop burn sequence, fertility amendments, weed control, and erosion control <br />on 10,000 acre Midway Mine and the 3,600 acre Empire Mine. Coordinate burn sequence with <br />grazing, vegetation monitoring, and other land management activities. <br />NOXIOUS WEED SURVEYS AND CONTROL <br />Evaluate drastically disturbed sites for noxious and targeted weed infestations. Design and <br />implement integrated pest management plans to identify weed species, weed control <br />alternatives including cultural, mechanical, chemical, and biologic methods. Coordinate and <br />implement weed control services. <br />RAG Shoshone Coal Corporation, Hanna, WY. <br />Conducted a weed survey on disturbed lands affected by facilities, surface, and underground <br />mining activities. Developed a weed management plan that included grazing, mechanical, and <br />chemical control methods. Weed survey used GPS survey equipment to locate weed <br />infestations and to develop AUTOCAD format maps. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL AUDITS AND DUE DILIGENCE <br />Evaluate mining and utility projects for compliance with approved air, water, waste, mining, <br />and other required permits. Performed due diligence audits for the potential purchase of <br />mining and /or utility power generating stations in Texas, Mississippi, and New Mexico. <br />Performed internal corporate environmental and safety audits on a surface coal mine in <br />Wyoming. <br />Texas - New Mexico Power Company, Bremond, TX and confidential client. <br />Performed environmental due diligence on TNP One lignite fired generating station and <br />Walnut Creek Mining Company for potential purchase by client. <br />Page 6 of 7 <br />
