(Page 6) - Attached Exhibit E includes additional information regarding the <br />Reclamation Plan. This Exhibit was updated to reflect information in revised <br />Exhibit D. In addition, please note that new reference materials have been relied <br />upon in the development of the reclamation and revegetation plan. Additional <br />references are provided as Attachment 1 to this letter. <br />2. (Page 6) - Attached revised Exhibit and Tables E -1 through E -7 discuss <br />alternative seed mix options that GCC Rio Grande proposes based upon Division <br />and public comment. <br />3. (Page 6) - Seed mix, seeding windows, vegetation sequencing, and noxious weed <br />control will be as approved by the Division and are discussed on attached revised <br />pages E -7 through E -12. <br />4. (Page 6) — Seeding methods and windows are described on pages E- 9 through E- <br />11. <br />5. (Page 7) - Reconstructed drainages will be stabilized with riprap and geotextiles <br />in order to establish vegetation, minimize erosion, and convey the 100 -year flood <br />peaks. Undisturbed arroyos above the mining areas will be seamed into the <br />reconstructed arroyos at the upper end of the mined area using rock - lined, sloping <br />drop structures and energy dissipaters. These facilities are further described in the <br />revised pages for the Mining Permit Application and the detailed report provided <br />in Appendix F of the Application titled "Surface Water Management Plan." <br />6. (Page 8) — Noxious weed control methods are discussed on page E -11 and <br />reference is provided in Appendix G. <br />D. 6.4.6 EXHIBIT F — RECLAMATION PLAN MAP <br />1. (Page 8) - Revised Exhibit F -1 showing the post - mining contours is attached. The <br />map is now at a scale of 1" =600' and clearly shows drainage of both the mine and <br />plant area. New Exhibit F -2 illustrates "before and after cross sections" of the <br />highwalls. Material balance calculations are summarized in revised page E -2. <br />
