Applicant, GCC Rio Grande <br />Pre - Hearing Statement <br />July 30, 2002 <br />Page 6 <br />In addition, GCC Rio Grande and the witnesses identified above will rely upon materials <br />contained in the mining permit application. Maps, drawings, calculations and any other mining <br />permit application materials may be enlarged or presented in electronic or projection format at <br />the hearing. <br />GCC Rio Grande will make presentations at the hearing based upon the exhibits <br />identified in this document. Presentations will include electronic and graphic presentations <br />summarizing information contained in the mining permit application, appendices to the mining <br />permit application, and reports submitted during the mining permit application process. <br />GCC Rio Grande also reserves the right to make available to the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board, copies of published judicial opinions, federal regulations and guidance as <br />well as other state or federal official documents readily available in published format. In <br />addition, GCC Rio Grande reserves the right to prepare, identify, and submit exhibits in rebuttal <br />to the exhibits of, and positions, of any other party to this proceeding or to the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. GCC Rio Grande also reserves the right to utilize the exhibits of other <br />parties and/or the Division of Minerals and Geology. In addition, GCC Rio Grande may, at the <br />hearing, utilize extemporaneously produced drawings, overheads, or schematics for illustrative <br />or demonstrative purposes. <br />V. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND PROFESSIONAL REFERENCE <br />MATERIAL <br />In addition to the exhibits identified in Section IV, above, GCC Rio Grande is submitting, <br />on this same date, the following attachments for reference by the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology and for reference by the Mined Land Reclamation Board. These materials will not be <br />used as exhibits at the hearing. The materials provided are copyrighted and therefore cannot <br />practically be reproduced for every party to the hearing.
