Compliance With Mine Plan - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />RNA <br /> - Other - Special Categories Of Mining <br />NAR <br /> - Processing Waste - Topsoil <br /> <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />The weather was warm and clear, and the ground contained only a small amount of snow. <br /> <br />The partial inspection was conducted by Rob Zuber of DRMS. The following Colowyo staff also participated in <br />the inspection: Chip Brown (Tuesday morning), Tony Tennyson (Tuesday afternoon), Ryan Pawlowski <br />(Wednesday morning), and Andy Thomson (Wednesday morning). <br /> <br />Activities on site included: <br /> The 102 dragline was undergoing maintenance at the West Pit Spoil Pile (aka Henks Peak). <br /> In the West Pit, the 103 dragline was casting spoil near the east end. <br /> In the South Taylor Pit, the 114 shovel and the 115 track hoe were digging overburden and loading trucks. <br />These trucks were hauling material to the South Taylor Fill. <br /> <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION Rule 4.17: <br />No problems were observed with fugitive dust. <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />See list below. <br /> <br />BACKFILL and GRADING Rule 4.14: <br />Streeter Fill was observed from the pond below, and no problems were observed. West Pit Fill was observed from <br />the spoil pile above, and no problems were observed. South Taylor Fill was observed from the 7750 lift, and no <br />problems were observed. <br /> <br />EXPLOSIVES Rule 4.08: <br />An overburden shot in the West Pit was observed from approximately one-half mile away.
