Drainage and <br />sediment control systems are discussed in the "Ponds, Impoundments, and Diversions" section <br />following the "Roads" section. Discussions of other activities and facilities are presented in the <br />"Soil Material Handling ", "Overburden Handling and Blasting Operations ", "Coal Handling <br />Structures ", and "Coal Refuse and Non -Coal Processing Wastes" sections, which follow the <br />"Ponds, Impoundments, and Diversions" section. The south end surface facilities are summarized <br />in Table 2.05.3 -T3. <br />Standard maintenance procedures, such as preventive maintenance programs, painting, and <br />lubrication shall be utilized throughout the active life of all structures and facilities. All facilities <br />will be removed, and the associated disturbance areas reclaimed to approximate original contours, <br />and the approved postmining uses when no longer required to support ongoing or future mining and <br />related activities. <br />Covered Storage Buildings — Four covered storage buildings will be constructed for dry storage of <br />materials. The buildings will be 100 x 30 x 20, two at 150 x 50 x 20 feet and one at 250 x 50 x 20 <br />feet. The structures will be steel -frame construction, with steel siding, and a dirt floor covered with <br />1 -foot of road -base material. The steel buildings will sit on two foot diameter concrete pylons, five <br />feet deep on 25 foot centers. The locations of these structures are shown on Map 2.05.3 -MIA, <br />Mine Facilities Map (South End). <br />Material and Equipment Storage Yards — Materials such as roofbolts, conveyor structure, timber, <br />and other consumable supplies needed for the underground operations will be stored in these areas. <br />The storage yard will cover a maximum area of approximately 4 acres, and will be surfaced with <br />road -base or gravel. <br />TR -01 -10 2.05 -12 Revision 02/11 <br />
