RULE 2 - PERMITS
The overburden material excavated from the face -up area will be used to build pads to the north and
to the south of the face -up area. The pads will be utilized for coal stockpile areas and for mine
facilities. Other mine facilities will be located in close proximity to the face -up and coal stockpile
areas, as shown and listed on Map 2.05.3 -M1A, Mine Facilities Map (South End). The southern
portal area surface facilities are projected to include:
