Location of otter sign and habitat use along Reed Wash. <br />4.1.2.2 Canada Lynx: The habitat is not suitable for this species and use would only occur if a <br />transitory animal elected to occupy the project area for cover on a short-term basis. The only <br />known occurrence of lynx in the Grand Valley is the result of a single reintroduced animal that <br />ranged from its release site in 2002 during the CDOW transplant program conducted to establish <br />a breeding population. <br />21 <br />
