February 8, 2012 C- 1981 - 010 /Trapper Mine JLE <br />Johnson 48 was holding water and was discharging. The dam embankment was stable and vegetated. <br />Johnson 49 was holding water and was discharging. The dam embankment was stable and vegetated. The <br />sediment marker appeared to be in place but was covered with snow. <br />Johnson # 10 was holding water, the spill way was stable. The pond embankment was stable and vegetated. <br />West Pyeatt 42 was holding water and was snow and ice covered. The spillway was stable and functioning. The <br />embankment was stable and vegetated. <br />West Pyeatt # 1 pond embankment was stable and the spill way was functioning. The flume was in place and <br />functioning. <br />Middle Pyeatt 43 was only holding a small amount of water. The sediment marker was in place. The pond <br />embankment was stable and vegetated. <br />Middle Pyeatt 42 was dry and the embankment was stable and vegetated. The emergency spill was appeared <br />stable. <br />East Pyeatt #1 was holding water and discharging. The spillway was stable and the dam embankment was stable <br />and vegetated. <br />East Pyeatt 43 was holding water, the spillway was functioning and water was discharging. The dam embankment <br />was stable and vegetated. The flume was in place and stable. <br />Middle Flume # 1 was holding water and the sediment marker was in place. The pond slopes and embankment <br />were stable. <br />Middle Flume 43 was holding water and the dam embankment was stable and vegetated. <br />East Flume Pond was holding water and only a small amount was discharging. The dam embankment was stable. <br />The following culverts were inspected: <br />Culverts BC -2, A -3, A -5, A -4, SA1, SA2, SA4, SA4a and AE -11 were clear and functioning. <br />Culvert SA3 was clear; however sediment is building up near the inlet of the culvert that will need to be cleared. <br />Culvert AE -10 was clear and functioning. The Operator had recently regarded the land and drainage below the <br />culvert. Rip -rap was placed below the culvert and rock check dams were constructed throughout the drainage. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 9 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />
