Below are Alma Placer's <br />responses to each item of deficiency the Division identified. <br />1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION, Item III.2. Under "Amount of material to be extracted, <br />moved, or proposed to be moved" the applicant states "2,000.00." Please indicate the <br />units (pounds, tons, etc.) and where it will be disposed after extraction. <br />The amount of material to be extracted is 2,000 tons. <br />2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION, Item IIL5. The applicant states that an existing shaft will be <br />rehabilitated to provide a secondary escapeway and ventilation circuit. Is this the shaft <br />that is labeled as "London Butte Shaft" on Figures 2 and 3? <br />Yes, the London Butte Shaft will be rehabilitated to provide a secondary escapeway and for <br />ventilation. <br />3. PROJECT DESCRIPTION, Item III.6.B. The depth of drill holes is indicated as 600 feet. <br />Is this a cumulative depth for all holes or the anticipated depth for each hole? <br />It is the anticipated average depth of each hole. <br />4. PROJECT DESCRIPTION, Item III.6.C. Please provide an estimate of how deep into the <br />adit and at what levels the rehabilitation activities will occur. Please indicate if any new <br />underground excavation will occur. <br />Rehabilitation will take place roughly 1500' into adit. No new underground excavation will <br />take place at this time. <br />
