CONCLUSION <br />Some of the factors that contribute to the difference in time and cost associated with the zoned clay <br />liner include: <br />• Additional excavation of the entire reservoir area <br />• Continuous dewatering requirements <br />• Additional material handling associated with the clay core and backfill material <br />Based on the above assumptions and calculations, it appears that a slurry wall would be more cost <br />effective and provide a finished product in less time than the zoned clay liner option. <br />Loloff Pit Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost 1 Conclusion <br />3 <br />
