Water Information <br />EXHIBIT G <br />This amendment has no affect on site water resources. Water is primarily used for dust control <br />and is either obtained from Rock Creek by water rights or purchased from the City of Fountain. <br />Water use by washing of product materials is not anticipated. As discussed in previous sections, <br />test holes during resource evaluations confirm that the groundwater table will not be encountered <br />during mining. Mining at the Fountain Pit immediately east of the amendment area also <br />confirms that the groundwater table is below the depth of mining. <br />Stormwater will not be retained in the active mine pit or in the reclaimed pit area. During the <br />mining and reclamation period, the appropriate stormwater discharge permit will be obtained <br />from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the associated monitoring <br />and stormwater management plan will be followed for surface water discharges. <br />Fountain Pit M -1982 -155 <br />DRMS 112 Permit Amendment Revised in Response to Adequacy Review Comments Page 18 <br />
