Ms. Binns,
Thanks for the inspection report. We counted seven subsidence holes, but I did not GPS survey all of them.
Yes, all seven are in the same area that you have plotted and GPS recorded.
We think that all of these holes have happened in the past year if timing of the subsidence is important. Can
you see any of these holes on the aerial photos that have been taken over the last few years? I'm guessing, but
some of the holes might appear on the photos.
Also, I don't think that you saw the other subsidence features that we have reported to George and which he has
repaired because these features are located far to the south along the road to the Monarch fan and east of the
Newlin Creek mine road. The snow would have made vehicle access impossible on both roads.
Do you post process the data from your Trimble unit?
WD Corley, Jr.
- -- On Mon, 12/19/11, Binns, Janet <JanetBinns@.state.co.us> wrote:
From: Binns, Janet <Janet.Binns @state.co.us>
Subject: December 14, 2011 inspection report
To: ajjc @att.net
Date: Monday, December 19, 2011, 4:59 PM
Hello Dr. Corley,
Please find a copy of the Division's inspection report for December 14, 2011. The Division is evaluating the
course of action regarding the holes. George Patterson and I found 6 holes. Your e -mail notifying the Division
of these features noted 7 holes.
