1) Please See EXIIIBIT C
(i) The depth of the sand / gravel deposit to be mined varies
from 5 -10' in depth. The depth of the overburden is
approximately 12 ".
g)
(ii) The nature of the stratum immediately beneath the material
to be mined is a sand and gravel material.
The primary commoditie to be mined is pit run, consisting of 2 " -10" rock with a
sandy mix. Its primary use is to establish a base for roads we build for our
customers. They use these roads to gain access to private property, cabins, drilling
locations, etc. The secondary commoditie we sell is road base, which consists of
1" minus crushed rock with a sand mix. Its primary use is to provide a cover on
top of the pit run that results in a well graded smooth road.
h) The expected incidental products to be mined . by the proposed excavation ware
none, unless we lease our pit to a larger company that does highway construction
( LaFarge, Connell, etc.) at which point we will welcome the incidental product of
sand or 3/8 " -3/4" crushed clean rock, both of which are useful in the construction
field.
