EXHIBIT D
Mining Plan
a) This is an open pit mine where any area to be mined will have 2 " -6" of top soil
stripped and stockpiled for use in the reclamation process.
b) Earthmoving will be accomplished using loaders, dozers and excavators. They
will be brought into the pit using the existing access roads and will not affect the
adjacent lands.
c) There will be no water diversions or improvements that need or will be required
to mine the Fairbanks Pit.
d) Pit excavation will be limited to a 19.06 acre area. The limits of mining and the
permit boundary are marked with barbed wire fence. Mining will be done from
West to East.
e) Mining will be done for an indefinite time until all usable material has been
captured. After this phase, the reclamation process will begin
(i) Mining Phase — Indefinite period of time, depending on the market
for gravel products. Reclamation Phase — At least one year to
ensure proper re- growth.
(ii) The area to be worked in will be within the 19 permitted acres for
mining purposes. For reclamation, the areas will be reclaimed in
the following order — "Stage 2 Fairbanks Pit ", "Pre -Law" Area and
"The original Fairbanks Pit"
(iii) The First step is Mining. The second step is reclamation.
