November 10, 2011 C-1981-028/Keenesburg Strip Mine RDZ <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> Areas 29, 30, and 31 were walked during the inspection to look for erosion,bare areas, and large patches of weeds. <br /> None of these problems were found on any of the areas. Also, all three areas contained very good diversity of <br /> plant species and the species observed generally matched the seed mix in the permit. <br /> Area 30 has been mowed and treated for cheat grass. <br /> Area 25 has also been mowed and treated for cheat grass and was observed by foot. No cheat grass was seen. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> Observations during the inspection indicated that the facilities, including the shop and yard, are in good condition. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS —Rule 4.02: <br /> The entrance sign was in good shape and included the necessary information. <br /> TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06: <br /> Topsand Pile A-3, Topsand Pile A-1, and Topsand Pile B-1 were observed from roads, and Pile A-3 was also <br /> observed by foot. No significant erosion or other problems were observed with any of the piles.
