The ground was dry. <br /> The partial coal inspection,conducted by Jared Ebert and Rob Zuber of DRMS, entailed observation of the site <br /> with Danny Kipp and Don MacDonald of Coors Energy Company(CEC) as well as Mike Savage, a consultant for <br /> CEC. <br /> Don MacDonald indicated that four loads of ash had been dumped at the site during the morning of the inspection, <br /> and one more would possibly be dumped. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE-Rule 4.05: <br /> Neither snow nor standing water was observed in Sediment Pond 2 or the Dugout Pond. Neither pond was <br /> discharging. No problems were observed with the two ponds. <br /> The perimeter ditch to the west of the pond was clear of debris and appeared to be functional. <br /> A small amount of standing water was observed in B Pit due to recent precipitation. <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: <br /> The mine was found to be in general compliance with the permit. <br /> ROADS —Rule 4.03: <br /> The road between Sediment Pond 2 and B Pit and the road between the pit and the Dugout Pond were observed <br /> during the inspection.
