Any upland or riparian areas needing temporary vegetative cover will be seeded
and stabilized with the temporary seed mix as shown on Table 5.
• BMPs as detailed in the enclosed Wright Water Engineer's, Inc. (WWE) SWMP /GESC Plan Set
(see Attachment E of the PCN) will be utilized during and after construction for Site stabilization.
• Three areas have been selected for mitigation of proposed permanent impacts to previously
disturbed upland PMJM habitat (0.08 acre) and previously disturbed PMJM riparian habitat (0.14
acre) just upstream of the cutoff wall (see Figure 11).
o The first mitigation area located furthest upstream of Ralston Creek to the west will
have 0.09 acre of upland enhancement and 0.04 acre of riparian restoration and
enhancement (see Figure 11 and Appendix B, Photo 25). Upland shrubs listed in
Table 6 will be planted in clumps of 3 to 5 approximately 10 feet on center throughout
this mitigation area (150 upland shrubs total) and mulched. The 0.04 acre portion of
this mitigation area will be excavated approximately 1.5 feet with 6 inches of topsoil
added before seeding /planting (see Appendix B, Photo 26).
Table 6
Upland Shrubs for Mitigation Plan
Page 14
August 2011
