> House - now used as office
• > Metal Building - now used as garage
> Wooden Outbuilding (Adjacent to house)
> The expanded road/yard area immediately west of the house
that is now used as an office.
The only new facility which will remain after reclamation will be
the access road and possibly the siding track if it is sold to the
railroad.
All structures and facilities which will remain after reclamation
are shown graphically on the Post-Disturbance Topography Map, Map
10 except the siding track which may be left on site.
Topsoil Stockpiles
Topsoil has been stockpiled in two locations as shown on the
topsoil Handling Plan (Map 8). Stockpiled topsoil to be used for
reclamation purposes will not be moved until required for
redistribution on the graded disturbed area. The topsoil will be
redistributed so as to achieve an approximate uniform and stable
thickness and to minimize compaction. At the cessation of loadout
operations, all topsoil will be removed from the stockpiles and
• redistributed prior to revegetation.
Grading and Soil Stabilization
All area affected by the loadout facilities within the loadout area
will be returned to a final surface configuration that closely
resembles the land surface prior to disturbance. This
configuration will assure proper drainage from the site. The
existing topography is shown on the Soils Map (Map 3). The post-
disturbance topography is shown on the Post-Disturbance Topography
Map (Map 10).
Coal material used as a base for coal stockpiles during the
operation of the facility, the sediment storage pile and
miscellaneous coal spilled and stockpiled around the site including
around the loadout facility will be segregated prior to backfilling
and grading of the site. The coal material will be backfilled at
the site and covered with at least four (4) feet of non-toxic
material as shown of Figure 2 - Coal & Non-Coal Waste Reclamation
& Disposal Plan.
. 2.05 - B
Rev. 09-27-93
