available, it will be salvaged to a minimum depth of six inches or to the bottom of the A-horizon,
whichever is greater.
For this Reclamation Costs Exhibit, if it is assumed that six inches of soil will be salvaged from all
areas to be disturbed (74.6 acres total), then a total of approximately 60,000c.y. of topsoil will be
salvaged and stockpiled.
L-4 INTERIM REVEGETATION
During operation, it is estimated that approximately 12 acres of topsoil stockpiles, pond outslopes,
road cuts and fills, and other disturbed areas not required for operation will be seeded with the seed
mix in Table E-1. This interim revegetation will be done for erosion control and wildlife habitat.
L-5 FINAL REVEGETATION
At any time that the Project is terminated, all disturbed areas, with the anticipated exception of the
access road, will be reclaimed as described in Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan. In addition, all facilities
described in Exhibit D - Mining Plan, will be dismantled, the area re-graded, topsoil re-applied, and
the areas revegetated. A maximum of 74.6 acres (which includes the access road) is anticipated to
be reclaimed after operations.
G:\LM=78545.002\ReclamationlReclamexh.DOC L-2
