Paul von Guerard: This one was done in 1978. • Paul von Guerard: You talked about a copy of the spring investigation done in the 1970s...is that the state one? With the water rights? I didn't look at it from that perspective. Jerry Daub: Right, and I think we did that spring inventory. That was one of the sources of data that we used. I think it was done in 1983. Roger Day: We had aerial mapping with 5 -ft contours, and we didn't ask the guy who was doing it. We could look for springs. Jerry Daub: And I looked at 13 Mile Creek tongue coming into Green River formation, which is the marly unit that does not outcrop on the Rock School Lease, and as you move basin -ward to the east, that goes in the subsurface and that's characteristically where this perched aquifer tends to occur on the higher topographic areas similar to what is on the White River Nahcolite lease. There are no identifiable springs on any USGS topographic maps that we've seen in that area where the 13 Mile Creek tongue outcrops. Paul von Guerard: I'm looking at their map. They've got one spring that's upstream and near the 84 Ranch. They call it a spring flow station. I'm not sure what that means. Springs are red dots and there aren't any identified springs. Carol Hollowed: The alluvial of the Yellow Creek come into this and the ... (can't hear hardly at all) Jerry Daub: It looks like there may be one south of the Rock School Lease. Paul Daggett: There's a designation of that spring. Jerry Daub: I think that's the same location. Allen Sorenson: That's the only spring that's on these maps. But that's 21 years ago. Jerry Daub: This one plotted on this map is on the north side of the valley, but this one is a little harder to see. This road actually goes over it. That's probably 1 miles upgradient from the well field. 35
