5) Initiate clean up and isolation of contaminated soils or other materials. <br />3.0 Designated Chemicals and Volumes <br />Not all of the designated chemicals and their volumes are presently known for the <br />Project. Sodium bicarbonate will be produced by the Project, and up to approximately <br />2,100 tons of the finished product will be on hand pending shipment at any one time. <br />Sodium bicarbonate will be in solution in the pipelines and vessels used in the mining <br />and recovery processes. The amount of this dissolved sodium bicarbonate in transit <br />above ground is anticipated to be up to 300,000 gallons at any one time. <br />Other designated chemicals that will be on site, and their volumes, will be submitted to <br />the DMG in the updated ERP within 30 days of project start -up. <br />4.0 Materials, Supplies, and Equipment <br />Emergency response materials, supplies, and equipment that will be stored on the <br />property and readily available for containing, controlling, and cleaning up excursions or <br />releases of designated chemicals have not yet been determined.
