6 (FORM 2 - Public filing) <br />8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re- establishment of <br />vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth: <br />The only new disturbance is expected to be the 420 feet of additional access to get to <br />holes 11 -41 -MK through 11- 46 -MK. The width of this access is approximately 14 feet.The <br />10 -•- . ON 111 , 1 • • •• •1• •1 . - 1/11 .111 1 • - 1 -• 011 - 1 <br />back out. Truck traffic will be minimized at these 3 locations. If any topsoil exists on any <br />other drill location, it will be bladed by bobcat off to one side of the drill pad area and will <br />later be replaced on the surtace after drill Hole plugging. <br />9. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures): <br />Since the 300 past drill holes have not encountered any water, the drill holes for this permit <br />will only be backfilled fully with bentonite or cement if water is encountered in the hole. If <br />entire hole is fully pluggAd If no significant water is encountered' any surface pipe will he <br />cut within 1 foot of the ground surface and a conical plug will be installed 5 feet from the <br />surface. Above this plug, concrete or bentonite will be used to fill up to the surface. <br />10. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for <br />specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications. <br />One adit will be extended as shown on the attached Map 1. The waste rock (estimated to <br />be 4000 tons) will be taken outside from the existing mine portal and placed on the existing <br />• - • . 1 • I' 11 1 - • - 11 <br />that is in process of development. <br />11. Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre - prospecting (or better) condition: <br />Only existing dirt roads will be used to access all drill sites, except for the 420 feet of road <br />to drill holes 11 -41 -MK through 11- 46 -MK. This area will be returned to the existing <br />condition by first only alowing access over the vegetation during dry conditions. For <br />as shown on the attached Map 1. <br />
