5 (FORM 2 - Public filing)
G. Total project area to be disturbed 0 (acres)
K. Describe the equipment to be used for the prospecting operations:
One Drill rig with NX Core barrels. One Bobcat for digging mud pits and minor grading.
Pipe truck with up to 2500 feet of drill pipe, fuel truck as needed. Pickup trucks for supplies
and materials such as plugs and cement.
L. Describe and locate any structures to be constructed (i.e. stockpiles, ponds, impoundments):
No structures will be constructed for this exploration permit. There will be a temporary
stockpile of 500 tons of ore on the surface until this material is loaded and shipped within
-- -: - - : - - : • :: :- : - : - : - :: •
permanently stored in the existing waste rock pile, as shown on Map 2
M. Describe anticipated relationship to surface water and groundwater (proximity to streams, penetration of ground
water aquifers):
Over 300 drill holes have been drilled in the past into the veins that are subject of this
f those holes encountered water. It Is not expected that any of the
new holes will encounter water. The significant surface drainage of the ar a is Sneffels
Creek, which is shown on Maps 1 and 2, located just north of the mine portal area. None of
the activity of this NOI will affect Sneffels Creek.
.- -
• -.
IV. OPERATION AND RECLAMATION MEASURES:
1. The Board suggests that a photographic record of the pre - prospecting and post - prospecting conditions be kept by the
prospector. These photos should be taken from the same location and by the same method to clearly show the pre - prospecting
condition of the land and the reclamation efforts. Upon completion of reclamation and request for bond or surety release, the
Board may consider the photos as evidence of adequate reclamation, and thus, be able to act more quickly on the request for
release.
2. Provide a description of the native vegetation of the area to be disturbed, including tree, shrub, and grass communities of the
area. Color photographs, sufficient to adequately represent the ecology of the site and adequately labeled (including date,
orientation and location), may be used in lieu of a written description. Based on the quality of the photographs, the Division
may require additional detail.
The elevation of the drill hole sites range from 10,800 ft to 12,600 ft. Almost no disturbance
will occur at all drill sites except for Holes 11 -41 -MK through 11- 46 -MK, which are 6 holes
in total. The existing vegetation consists of high altitude forbs, shrubs, grasses and
grasses and fnrhs at the higher elevations See attached photos
