9 April 2004
Natural Soda, Inc
Well 3M TDR Workover Report
Start 9 April, 2004
Rod Storey
Rigged up Production Logging Service on well. Injected Iodine
13,1 radioactive tracer into well annulus. Flushed with raw water
from plant tank hauled to location by Dalbo water truck.
Followed trace through all aquifers and to below perforations in
casing. Lost track of trace after 1660 feet, as trace moved away
from casing wall. Logged to bottom and out trying to find trace.
No success. This log showed the following information:
Surface to mine communication.
All aquifers are flowing down well annulus to dissolution area.
Some slowing of trace in Perched aquifer, but descended again.
Could be Bentonite plugging.
Water and trace moved away from casing below perforations.
Rigged down. Will rig up Cement trucks for cement job on
Monday, April 12
April 12, 2004
Big 4 Cement trucks on location. Dalbo water trucks spotted in
with 220 BBL process water. One Dalbo truck had 30 BBL sodium
silicate loaded.
Pump 30 BBL water down 4 -1/2 casing to establish rate and
pressure.
Pumped 30 BBL @ 2BBL /min. 0 PSI.
Start cement down annulus. Pump @ 3 bbl /min. 0 PSI.
Pump 10 bbl sodium silicate down 4 -1/2 casing. 0 PSI.
When 61 BBL cement volume was pumped down annulus, started
pumping sodium silicate down 4 -1/2 casing @ 1 bbl / min.
Report 4 #1
