3. Provide an estimation of the loose cubic yardage that will be generated from
the decline construction and estimate the volume to be used for portal pad
construction and the volume to be stored on private surface.
The total estimated development waste (loose cubic yards) is shown on Table 2 in
the Plan of Operations, submitted August 2011. The estimated volume to be
placed in the portal bench and access road is 35,000 ley and in the development
waste dump is 25,000 icy. These are conservative estimations that include swell,
over -break and other unanticipated ground conditions.
4. Section 6.1 — Portal Area Facilities: Provide a location on the
pad layout design where the facilities on the portal pad will be
stored and utilized. (Example (2) 10,000 gallon water tanks,
electric substation, parking, cargo boxes, etc.)
See Figure 3 for Portal Area Facilities.
5. Section 11 -3: Provide a brief narrative discussing the current Storm Water
Management Plan requirements that were set forth several years ago for the
existing reclamation area.
6. Describe any additional requirements or sediment control measures that will
be required due to the new exploration activities, or updates that the State is
requiring to the Storm Water Management Plan.
7. Briefly describe storm water control and drainage in the new portal area.
Figures 4 (Stormwater Management Plan – Bulldog Underground Exploration
Project) and 5 (Bulldog Project – BMPs) address Stormwater Management Control
requirements, sediment control and drainage in the new portal area.
112 East 12 Street P.O.
